A day when I was not going to do anything

slow Sunday morning
feeling a bit lazy
just sitting
got a phone call
from my sassy sister
"come and pick mushrooms
to the forest", she said
"and maybe some blueberries"
how could I resist that offer!
so instead of sitting inside
off we went to the woods
strolled and sat
in the blueberry bushes
picked chanterelles
felt alive and present
said to my sister:
"could just sit here,
pick blueberries and be happy".
