As one door closes

This is a landmark day for Liz and Milly ? the last day of breastfeeding. Liz has done fantastically well to keep it going this long. She is away for the weekend with work and so it seemed like an ideal opportunity to stop.

I know Liz is sad about stopping and I joke that if she had her way she would be still feeding Milly when she was coming home from University. It does mean that Liz can have a bit of her life back ? she has gone without a night out with the girls or going to the Gym for the last 17 months so she can give Milly a night time feed.

Milly is as yet unaware of the change and will find out tonight when the night time feed is replaced with her flat chested Dad and a handful of story books?. I?ll let you know the outcome of that conversation.
