Some more birds....

Picnic at Kingsbarns today after church - never seen it so busy! Sat on the beach for a while and watched the common terns fishing (gannets further out too), martins and swallows swooping around - and, after yesterday, some more waders. Not sure what the little brown ones are (probably common sandpipers, but my wader identification needs some work), but I do like turnstones (right) in their summer colours, and love ringed plovers (the ones with the rings, funnily enough)!
