Prawn Cocktail anyone?

What an idyllic Sunday we are having at Chez G.

A very slow start to the day (after the 7am wake up from the dogs) followed by some leisurely ironing, a spot of shopping and a spot of gardening.

We have friends coming round for dinner shortly and this is the starter. A 70s style Prawn Cocktail! Rock and Roll! Roast chicken with ALL the trimmings to follow. Mr G is currently watching the football whilst myself and Casper are in the snug having a chill together. Stanley is staring at his ball waiting for someone, anyone, to throw it for him!

Super 8 was a brill film last night. Thoroughly recommend it if, like us, you are a thirtysomething who loved films like Goonies and ET. Its a real feel good movie. Dinner after was yum too.

I hope y'all are having a relaxing Sunday too. A fresh bottle of gin is calling me.......must dash x x
