Saturday: Arrival in Cala D'Or

So, the long-awaited family holiday started today.  We have been planning this for ages - 16 of us in Mallorca to celebrate my uncle's retirement.

K. and I flew from Gatwick this morning, landing an hour and a half after the other 14 had arrived from Newcastle.  They waited for us at the airport and then we all piled on a bus to head to the villa my uncle had booked in Cala D'Or.  The party consisted of us 2, three sets of aunties and uncles, 7 cousins, and my uncle's mother-in-law..........

And it was my birthday too............what a great way to spend the day.

Villa is great - pool, pool table, table tennis table etc......bring it on!
