Pennan, Aberdeenshire

this is the view over Pennan, Aberdeenshire - once home to the filming of 'Local Hero'. There are currently two of the famous red telephone boxes in the village - one in situ and one randomly hanging about near a trailer, with a sign saying 'heavy, do not touch'. i don't know the story there.

another fab day catching up with the ladies. beautiful sunshine and lots of time sitting up on the hill overlooking the village, followed by a very civillised tapas/wine affair on the shore front. a scene reminiscent of Vettriano's Singing Butler.

2am and bedtime now. the sound of the waves lapping against the shore outside my bedroom window. i wish that was my everyday life!
