Party Piece

This is the Harris hawk doing it's big trick. This is the kind of thing I have wanted to do for a while to show this impressive little display but the weather and my focal skills disapointed me a tad. However I am impressed with the 6fps timing here (10fps overlapped - I tried ). I am also well pleased with the "Nifty 50" being able to give 1/1250 (at ISO200) on a rainy and overcast day. I think bumping up to ISO 400 would have given a slightly faster shutter speed and a less blurred bird. You live and learn.
