A few weeks ago I realised I had lost my wee Canon Ixus. After searching everywhere I had a letter from the police to say they had something of mine.

A visit to the lost property office revealed that someone had found my camera in the street round the corner from my place and handed it in. I couldn't understand how they had tracked me down until I saw the note with the camera in the police station. They had looked through the pictures (2,000 of them) and found a few pictures of my car, then traced the registration and found my address. There are definitely some good people out there. Thanks!
