Ancient cabinet...

I bought this old rimu bedside cabinet off trademe. It was full of borer holes so I had to fill them and paint it to hide the destruction. It turned into this rather over the top, decoupaged, gold-leafed result. But I like its quirkiness!

There was a stage when Dave said he was too scared to stand still for any length of time - in case he was decoupaged! A little exaggerated I thought, but I was quite into it for a while.

It got to 11.30pm and I realised I hadn't blipped! Goodness. Nice meal out with Kariba and Jack. Then we tied Jack up and forced him to watch Mamma Mia with us. Poor thing. And we sang along. He may need therapy.
