Beauty and the seeds

FThis is five week old Erin. Ernie, who helps with the garden on his days off brought herself and her mom to see us this evening. Mary wanted to keep her, she's so beautiful. Even though her parents are Philipino, we are claiming her for Ireland
She was born on Good Friday and is just a day older than Harisen's daughter Áthas.
Even though Harisen sent pics of seeds, I couldn't resist this cutie.

The seeds have arrived!
I collected them in the post office, they arrived in Mzuzu on 21 April.
It looks like the system here is too slow, when dispatching parcels. I asked the Post Master who said, they must have arrived some time back, but it takes time to send to the recipient due to lack of transport.

The seeds, all 3500 packs, are a donation from Seed Programs INC, Lubbock, Texas. We just pay a tiny handling charge and transport.
The recipients get them at no cost and they are making a significant impact on food security, bringing crops and tastes, unknown where we work.
The range of varieties enable us to do our research to find the most suitable ones.
