Testing new tripod

With me just starting taking photography seriously I didn't have any other kit than the camera, memory cards and batteries so decided I needed to get myself a tripod as a matter of priority so treated myself yesterday.

For todays blip I thought I'd try it out.

I had decided to take the wife out for a late drink so as we were both ready to go I set the tripod up, put the camera on timer an darted back round.

The result, I'm pleased to say, is one of the best photo's I've seen of me and the good wife in a long time
