Aim
1. This is a quote from none other than Robert Burns. If he felt this way then I guess there's hope for us all.
2. The weather is too gray and cold to think about taking pictures out of doors. I know the schools go back next week and I seem to remember the weather always got better as soon as the holidays ended. I hope that's not just my myth and mis-memory.
3. The sound of pipers still wafts through the damp heavy air. The town is full of people wrongly attired yet still hopeful in bright ponchos. I ruined at least three pictures as I walked behind a busking bagpiper with my carrier bag and end of the week face. Or maybe I add some local character.
4. I love my book. This time last week I was disturbed by the Sound and the Fury lurking in the shadows, this week I cantt turn the page fast enough. I have no idea how this is going to end.
5. I can't help but think about the importance of having an aim in life. If Rab were here now, what he would advise on the matter, knowing all he knows.
