Historic myth, modern day hero

In every walk of life we need a hero to help us through, someone that protects the week, helps the vulnerable and makes us believe in good...this is my old regimental mascot Bellerophon riding on the back of Pegasus, a winged horse, a hero, a slayer of monsters and emblem of the finest regiment in Britain if not the World.

But its more than that Pegasus gels people together in adverse conditions, when the odds are stacked against you, it makes people believe that no matter what we have a chance to survive, for the better good.

Although this has been my regimental emblem I also feel that it shows the dedication and tenacity of the police Forces of Britain, it shows that they will not let chaos nor anarchy reign, it shows strength in numbers and honour amongst those that fight for the benefit of the week and vulnerable... I would like to dedicate this blip to those people in uniform that have been called upon to serve, protect and save, sometimes with little regard for their own safety.
