The Gatekeeper

This lunchtime I ventured to the outskirts of Burgess Hill in the search of some thing interesting! In Burgess Hill this is a tall order however I did end up walking around the Bedelands Nature Reserve and came across this little.. (Google says it's a ..) lady.

I think this is my first ever butterfly photograph and very pretty it is too. Apparently Gatekeeper Butterflies are quite common down south tough I'd never heard of one before.
