Grand Hall

In the middle of the night on Wednesday, our roof started leaking. I accept it was the heaviest rainfall in 24hrs since records began, but why did it have to start leaking onto the bed?? So yesterday was spent pleading with inundated roofers to come and help.

Today the rain abated and I took the opportunity to take the bairns up to the reopened Museum along with 12,000 others. As expected it was absolutely hoaching but we just got on with it. Lots to see & do & interact with. Happy to see the Japanese Fighting Crab had a prime position, not so happy, as DaveH pointed out, there's nae fish anymore. I have to say that is a disappointment.

The bucket is on the bed ready for tonight's downpour.
