Family history

I met up with a friend in Wilton today. It's about half way between where we live and we both have (unrelated) family history links to the town.

My link is through my great grandparents. When my great grandfather was about 20, he passed the entrance examination for the Customs and Excise Department. His first posting was to Wilton, where he met and married my great grandmother, Alma Ann Brazier.

This is part of the Pembroke Arms Hotel in Wilton. If you look carefully, you can just make out the words "Inland Revenue Office" above the window.
