The Adventures of Pippin

Pippin's birthday blip

This was the funniest sequence of photos to take. I have been trying to get shots of Pippin down at her level, but the floor's been so wet that I didn't fancy lying flat out today. So I was in a rather uncomfortable position here. Partly to give a sort of Pippin eye view, but also partly to block her from going out the door (which I was leaning against whilst sitting in a rather peculiar position).

You see, my Mum popped into the butcher this morning asking for a knuckle bone or something. But they didn't have any so, as she had mentioned it was Pippin's birthday, he gave her a lamb shank!

So we gave it to her in the garden and she promptly picked it up and took it inside and nearly got through from the kitchen into the rest of the house. Fortunately, I managed to stop her and close the door, but she was nearly up the stairs by the time I shouted to her!

So then she spent the next 15 minutes with it clamped in her jaws walking backwards and forwards between the middle of the kitchen and the door, trying to get us to open it for her! I couldn't believe that she wasn't just wolfing it down!

I know this isn't Pippin at her most beautiful (she is all wet and the angle's a bit funny), but I love her droopy eyes. I got one photo of her in which she is winking - couldn't believe it! And a few others were potential blips as well cos they were sort of blurry action shots that seemed to capture her excitement quite well.

But this one won cos she just looks so cute.
