Artists Speak

Although freedom of expression is not absolute, one cannot impose a restriction on what, where, when, how artists are going to express in their art.

This is in the light of the recent art scandal that rocked the Cultural Center of the Philippines. The Catholic Church has called on the faithful especially Catholic artists to unite with them in the indignation rally that will be held Monday in the light if the alleged affront to the religious feelings caused by an artist who's ironically named Medeo Cruz.

The artists, however, have a different view.
