U-bahn...

So when I first got to Berlin - more specifically, Schonhauser Allee Station - I was really confused because the U-bahn ran not under, which is what U stands for, but rather above me, on this track I am standing under.

Moreover, the S-Bahn, which I thought generally was above ground, is underground.

But anyway, I had seen this several times and ne'er had a camera, and today I did, so I photographed it. Cool pattern. A tunnel-that's-not-really-a-tunnel sort of idea.
