Orange County Fair

Our daughter Kelsey, with whom we are rooming with while in Long Beach, convinced us the OC Fair was worth a visit. I never thought I would go to another fair after visiting Yakima's own Central Washington State Fair for so many years, but the OC is an entirely different affair. There was tons to see, it was tidy and clean, and those we saw working were clean-cut instead of seedy. Quite a difference.

We visited the Ice Sculpture Display last. It was the perfect conclusion to our trip, after three hours of walking around in the hot sun walking into the freezer to view the sculptures was very cooling. Too cooling to spend much time in there, so the photos, including this one of my wife and daughter, were quickly taken. They had wisely taken the blue blankets offered at the door, but I needed my hands free to take photos so I suffered through the cold.
