Suppertime

Before bedtime, I watch an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and have a packet of raisins for my supper. The same thing every night. Last night, I managed to scam Dad into letting me watch a Dora the Explorer dvd. He didn't realise it was a feature length episode, but I did. My bedtime behaviour has deteriorated recently. I won't go to sleep unless Mum or Dad are in the room, and I have been going into their bed every night. So I have a new star chart now, to persuade me to stay in my own bed all night. If I get enough stars, I can get a Peppa Pig costume as a prize.

Mum and Dad take turns at putting me to bed. It was Mum's turn tonight. She read me a story about Peppa and George going to Daddy Pig's office. On one page there's a sum:
1 + 1 = 2. I pointed it out to Mum, and said, " one add one equals two".

By one of those very strange coincidences, last year's blip is about the very same topic. I swear I didn't know! Just shows what a creature of habit Orla is. Differences - she's sitting on her beanbag and not her Peppa chair, and her hair is a bit longer. Her legs are a LOT longer. And, apparently, she can do sums now.

The three years ago entry is one of Orla's dad's favourite pictures ever.
