Lifeboat day

Today was the St Ives lifeboat day and despite a rather drizzly start is was a great success. We have raised £4700 so far with at least another £2000 hopefully on its way from collections tonight.

The only down side is that most of it is in change and has to be counted, bagged and banked by myself and a few helpers. Thank god for the change sorting and counting machine I bought a few years ago. Without it I would still be there now.

The blip is part of a demo the crew did and shows the power of the engines as the small (Inshore Lifeboat) is surfing on the wake of the big (All-weather Lifeboat)
