Leaf

I woke up this morning and saw this beautiful orangish red leaf dangling from our Maple tree in the front yard. While I love Fall, the colors and the changes in landscape and I have tell you that I am NOT ready for summer to end. It's mid August...why has this leaf changed color already? As many of us in the Pacific NW will tell you and continue to tell you daily, we have NOT had summer yet. The temps have been well below normal and the evenings and early mornings have already turned to have a chill in the air. Before the leafs start changing and fall officially sets in I am pleading with Mother Nature for at least a month of Summer like weather...please?

On a different note. Jack has really been enjoying his soccer camp. It's great to see him enjoying a sport again that he swore he would never play another season of. Team practices start next week...let the chaos of sports begin! :)
