We Stand Together

Hampden tonight for the international friendly against Denmark, Scotland's last game before our two big qualifiers coming up in September. A 2-1 win, not the greatest of matches (it was torrential rain for most of the game), but our first win against them in my lifetime and Craig Levein is building a team and squad that give us reason to believe we can get to a major championships in the near future.

To rally the Tartan Army and encourage the country to get behind the team, the Scottish FA has launched the 'We Stand Together' campaign and there were big billboards outside Hampden. Inside the ground, my blip for today is some of the players and the player escorts standing together during the national anthem. Love how a few of kids on the left are clearly singing their hearts out.

Have been to three games since Saturday and it's off to Perth this Saturday coming for the Dunfermline match against St Johnstone before a wee trip to the Edinburgh Fringe.
