VERY NICE DAY
along the coast. First in the morning our walk along the shore and our swim. Just lovely. Then our friend Cor came and he and I walked together from Kijkduin to Scheveningen, at the harbour to the end of the Pier and back. High waves, and a soft whitish sky. The walk back with the strong wind in our faces, harder to accomplish than how we came.
The haiku:
Spread your wings dear birds
Follow thus the wind blowing
And come home safely
The latin proverb is:
They who plough the sea do not carry the winds in their hands.
It is already a bit late so I won't comment on the proverb, if I understand it at all.
