Today may be St George's Day, patron saint of England, Portugal, Georgia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Republic of Macedonia, as well as the region of Catalonia (Spain) and the city of Moscow, but St Paul himself allegedly came to these shores and preached from Parliament Hill and thus became the patron saint of London.
