Day trip to Edinburgh

Phew! Finally catching up with myself.

Spent a lovely day yesterday in Edinburgh watching the street entertainment on the Royal Mile, quick pop into St Giles Cathedral and then on to meet up with my friend and her very cute daughter.

Had a great time catching up with them and wondering round before having a quick drink at the Pleasance Courtyard.

Tip: get the Cross Country train from Glasgow Central to Edinburgh as it's only £6 return compared with £20 via Queen St! Fewer trains but more pennies in your pocket.
