This used to be my playground
Sis and I took a trip to Whittington castle to revisit our youth and climb the walls.
One thing I like about Shropshire is nothing changes and it's easy to slip back into life as if you haven't been anywhere.
I also like that most people know people. I got served in the garage by a lad who had remembered my name from school twenty years ago.
I also partly dislike that nothing changes, people accept the way things are, good or bad, and not much gets done, driving generations over eighteen elsewhere.
In some ways it's home. In so many ways it is no longer.
