In Full Swing

Today, I turned 20 plus 6 years of experience. That's elementary math so I'm sure you'll figure that out.

Despite the almost-50-degree-heat in Riyadh, I was able to find some "me time" in this nearby park. I imagine how nice it would feel to be a child again and worry only about how to sneak out of the house to see my playmates even though it's not playtime yet, or coax my parents into buying me something, or anticipate what toys I might be getting on my birthday. My feelings today can de described as a bit of gratefulness garnished with a handful of achievements, sprinkled with a bit of pressure on the side and topped with a so-many-things-to-do-but-so-little-time attitude. I worry about living up to my own expectations -- my life in full swing.
