Love is in the air

I killed some time at the Southbank by messing around with zoom and focus on the pretty bunting. I liked this shot best.

Tonight, I went to see Turksib at the National Film Theatre. I won free tickets - yay! Otherwise, I'm not sure I would have spent Thursday evening watching a 1920s Soviet documentary. However, it was great - very machines against the elements. Although, 80 years on, I was on the side of the nomads and the elements. It was all very much destruction of the Shire.

One big bonus was the playing of the score live on stage as the film was screened. Those musicians are talented to play constantly for so long!
