Knitted for gerbils

A quiet day; popped up to the library for Booktrail earning a free DVD hire, so came back and watched that. Fed the gerbils shreddies for the first time - think they enjoyed them. Then drove to our local pool for a quick dip to find it closing because of the threat of riots in Selsdon. Returned home suddenly feeling rather cheated and house-bound, as all the local shops had shut early too, so after dinner we walked the woods to hide our first geocache. Found the perfect spot - hope our fellow cachers will enjoy the hunt. We were lucky enough to see 3 deer tonight, and I think I saw an owl flying off too. We have hidden 5 travel bugs - one for each of us, each with a list of 8 missions to try to fulfill. Hope mine wins!
