Blue

Been here before - often. The greatest contrast is probably the November blip showing the sea bashing up and birds hanging in the wind. Today the tide was out and the sky was a stunning azure. This shot is looking towards the Kent coast across the muddy shore and the Swale estuary. A sign of the decline of the tourist trade on the Isle of Sheppey is that on a beautifully sunny day like today there were parking spaces on Shellness Road; look at the space towards the car on the right of the shot. This is a free parking area too - cost wasn't deterring anyone.

Busy old day but got plenty done and a look round the island too - not the worst day I can imagine. I hope yours is working out well.
