Wedding Wings

Ok so I didn't get a blip till late back at home today as I went out to work today! Shock horror! Not long to go, and I spent quite a long time doing paperwork for leaving the RAF in the afternoon.

So back home, hubby and I went for a walk before dinner as it was a lovely evening... although we need rain for the grass seed!

After dinner hubby headed out for pub night with the boys and I took this blip. It is my wings made in lace by a relative of one of my sister-in-laws. Her uncle took ages to make these wings and then they were stitched onto the back on my wedding dress on my train which was Black Watch tartan silk. It was a very unusual wedding dress for an unusual bride! Hubby wore his best uniform with his Navigator Brevet so I needed to have my wings on my dress!

So these wings were framed and hang on the wall now! A reminder of a great day!
