Delicate
My brand new hyacinth has finally bloomed...I cannot believe it's still alive, I'm not usually any good with plants, flowers and anything that has roots in the ground. Actually, they tend to die a couple of minutes after I get them, so this is a very pleasant surprise.
I woke up this morning and walked in the lounge and I was welcomed straight away by the lovely smell of the newly blossomed flowers. It was a great sensation. And most of all I love the colour of the petals: it's a "lilacky" shade of blue which looks so soft that instantly brings a calming sensation. I had to take a picture!
I also recently found out a little shop in Clifton full of true italian food, from olives of brands that only the people from a particular region would know to my all time favourite biscuits "Pan di stelle" (Poppins, you surely know what I'm talking about!). They are round chocolate and nut cookies with one side covered with sugary stars...they remind me of my childhood, I haven't had them in years. Of course I had to buy a packet of them and had my first one (well, my first ten more likely) this morning for breakfast with my coffee....it brought back so many memories. I will take a shot of one of them soon for you fellow blippers, hopefully I will not finish them too soon!

When there's nothing to give
Well how can we ask for more
We might make love in some sacred place
The look on your face is delicate"
