Ramblings
Sometimes I wonder, what is the point in anything? We have goals and we have aims. But ultimately after those there is not much else.
Within our lifetime there are a lot of things we will do because we believe that it will please somebody else, or because you know it is what they really want you to do. But if you take that away, is there really any point in you doing it? If they are happy but you are unhappy does it even amount to anything?
At the end of the day, how long can you go before you just snap? The thing is people always assume that you have only recently been feeling this way because they 'know' you and will refuse to believe that it has always been there the whole time, you are just afraid to do anything about it. Because you believe if they are happy and are proud of you then it is good enough.
It may be that way for a short while, but after awhile you will realise that what you are doing is for them. You convince yourself that it is the best option, but in reality it is not. Because you are the one who is sacrificing everything for their approval. Because it seems that what you really want doesn't matter to them.
