A Quiet Day's Mid-day Meal

Laverbread, good bacon, fried tomatoes, an egg, bread, and a glass of milk. Reading Pirate Hunter: The True Story of Captain Kidd, which is great. A little work, correpondence, more reading in a cafe, and here I am blipping.

My cat who I blipped yesterday, asking you to suggest a name, has had an interesting day. She's been hissing at my other cat Carlo, Max is afraid to come into the room, and she's been attacking my feet with her sharp claws. And just as I decided to name her Louise (after the French anarchist heroine L. Michel, even though several of you made great suggestions) there might be a home in the country for her. The word is out that someone needs a "barn cat." My little cat will be perfect, if the adoption goes through, and I'll miss her.
