On The Road Again

After an aborted attempt on Saturday to get out on the bike I finally managed it this evening. I'm somewhat ashamed to say that my first bike ride of the year is even later than that of last year. Still I did get out and that's what counts. As before the bike ran well and I was pleasantly surprised just how well I ran....set out with the intention of doing a gentle 3-4 mile ride to break myself in gently but found out that I could do 11+ miles with ease. Another ride like this and I'll seriously contemplate signing up for Pedal for Scotland with all the other biking blippers. All I need to do is work out roundtrip transport to/from the Stirling area and the start/finish in Glasgow/Edinburgh....any suggestions?
