Damson Jam

Today Summer once again showed signs of it's age and was locked in a constant battle with the impending Autumn rain, restricting what I could do and halting my wanderings! Spending most of the day at work, I envied the sunshine in the morning, however my selfishness soon caught up with me as just after we shut the shop, the rain heaved down on us!

Late afternoon was therefore spent mainly indoors with guitar playing and making several pots of jam, using only a small fraction of the 20lbs of Damsons we picked yesterday! Sure enough we'll be drowning in Jam as well as rain towards the end of the week- let's hope not!
