New plant
A busy old day in which I didn't get everything done (does one ever?), but in between bouts of work I did manage to do half an hour of yoga and a self-administered cholesterol test. Hmm, it seems to have come down a bit, but there's a way to go yet.
I also re-potted this plant that was a gift from R and D when we stayed at theirs in Stroud. They knew it as Vietnamese coriander. It might be Vietnamese but coriander it certainly ain't. A member of the polygonum family, Persicaria odorata, which has a delightful tang-y heat in its leaves - and we've only nibbled a couple raw so far. It'll be an adornment to the stir fries yet to come, no doubt. And it appears to grow like an express train so there may be cuttings available!
