Quiet Anticipation

The end of our three days of meetings. Fabulous work with talented people. Tired but happy. We went as a group to Vancouver's Bard on the Beach. The play was As you Like It. Incredibly well acted and very funny. Perfect end to the marathon. ;-)

That night was also the last of the Celebration of Light, an annual fireworks competition in Vancouver. Extravagant 30 min presentations for several nights running. Tickets to the play that night included a salmon dinner on the lawn at intermission and then front row seats for the fireworks. Canada's turn. Nicely done!

Caught this image as we had dinner. A couple sitting, waiting, in the lengthening dusk. They sat side by side, reading. Not talking. Just sharing quiet companionship. Lovely!
