Trudge

A day of many options and possibilities, one of those Sundays when leaving the house meant far too much time management than is good for you to try and fit stuff in. In the end spent a lot of time trudging around town in the rain between places, mixing in with the tourist throng and their sea of umbrellas and those crap ponchos that seem to sell surprisingly well from the tat shops.

A great in-store gig at Avalanche Records with Rachel Sermanni and Withered Hand. Lovely stuff. A fellow blipper was there as well, just listening on this occasion. Music links and a picture of Withered Hand up on his blip so link to his page if you want to check out the artists.

A trudge to Underground Solu'shn and then further trudging to the Scottish Independent Record Fair at Summerhall, the new arts venue in the converted Vets School at Causewayside. Interesting venue - DJ sets in the dissection room anyone?

Bought nowt at the latter port of call, but the former, as usual, proved irresistible.
