Alturlie

It was a very wet, cold and miserable day but I had lunch with old friends who I was delighted to meet up with again and dinner with my family so my day turned out beautifully!

After dinner it had stopped raining so I went for a walk to the end of the road and came across the settlement of Alturlie which is a delightful row of what looks like one- time fishermen's cottages. There were great views across to the Black Isle but the skies were grey and I will go back again to get a sunny shot.
