Nesssaintee's World

Rainy days and Sunday's

We've had a lot of rain over the last 24hrs, nothing colourful to snap today at all
Biggest highlight of the day was finding two of my dearest twitter friends are on blipfoto now :-)
This burn, known locally as the Mill Burn, is normally so placid.
It was used by the Kings Mills (now the site of a hotel) about half a mile down stream from here
From here it goes past the side of Culcabock golf course and Millburn Academy
Please don't ask the mayhem that happened in the burn if it was your birthday at that school
It was either that or a posting on one of the lamp posts in the playground ( don't ask, rest assured it was sore, very sore)
So a dunking in the burn was the preferred option, until you got home of course, lol
It then passed through the Millburn Distillery, it's waters were used to make whisky
The distillery is no longer in use and it's buildings are now a hotel and restaurant.
From there it goes under the railway lines, through east longman industrial estate and out into the Moray Firth
I hope it doesn't burst it's banks somewhere
