mining museum experience, more information can be found HERE if you like. The only thing Mike and I did not do was the panning for gold as we would not have had enough time for that as well. It was fascinating the history of the people that worked the mine, they started a magnificent library and have some lovely books, despite the harsh living conditions and arduous daily work.
