Yorkshire Day Walk

Today was Yorkshire Day Walk day ~ a bit later than it should be (1st August) but Sundays are best for this sort of thing.

A nice steam train ride on the Wensleydale Railway from Leeming Bar to Redmire, a seven-mile walk via Bolton Castle to Carperby (for an excellent Sunday lunch courtesy of the WI) and back to Redmire via Aysgarth Falls for another steam train ride back to Leeming Bar.

A now, a nice soak in a hot bath.
