Bat detectors.....

and lots and lots of bats and stag beetles to watch as the sun sets and the cicadas start chirping.

Not many glow-worms this year though.

(this might look as if it was taken in a cave but was a covered area by the side of the holiday house - the hangar - that provides shade on really hot days)
