Splash

The scene from our drive today.

The rain came as forecast but it doesn't appear to be as heavy as in other parts of the country. Thank goodness.

An early walk around the garden, before the rain started in earnest, had me finding a spot where the birds don't seem to notice me near the bird table so discovered I can get much better shots of them. Did get some but ........., quickly turned round and saw our neighbours walk along the road. They walk to the shop every morning for their paper and a few provisions. Got a couple of shots of them without being spotted, loved them but ............

After lunch, undecided about whether to go with neighbours or bird and decided to try and take some photos of the cars splashing through the puddle at the opening of our drive.

Fairly pleased with the result. May have to do this again because a lot of it is luck and what vehicles go by etc.
