Demolition on Buchanan Street

Shopaholics just hold your horses! The Buchanan Galleries are still here ... this is taking place on the other side to apparently expand their sq footage.

Its still sad to see what was a functional building upto a few months ago.

Lots of shops have come and gone over the years. A basement Italian restaurant (the food was to die for), a pub, a restaurant and hotel crumble into dust as each brick is ripped from the original facade and tumbles into memories

What architectural joys await us ... we'll just have to wait and see!
