Australia Zoo

A short drive from Brisbane to Noosa allowed us to do some exploring.

In the morning we stopped by the Glass House Mountains, beautiful mountains that just appear from nowhere.

We then went to the Australia Zoo, which was taken over by Steve Irwin and ran for several years before his death. His wife and kids still have an active involvement with the place. As a connoisseur of zoos, we can safely saw this was a good one.

More kangaroos, koalas, wombats, dingos, tigers, crocodiles, snakes... and elephants. I have a new found love for them.
