Louvered Shutter Spring Pin

Displayed: new (top) and old (bottom - three decades old
Spent about half the day to repair two slats in the big arched window shutters.
Waiting for the shop to open
traveling to pick them up
clearing the stuff in front of the shutter
pulling out the fat short ends (very easy with a flat short knife)
drilling out the long pointed end stuck in the slat (VERY hard - the drill kept slipping)
and pulling it out with needle nose pliers, tweezers and a L shaped awl
inserting new pins (easy with the flat side of the short knife)
aligning new pin head with cleared slat hole (easy, but needed a flashlight to assist)
clean up and put away the tools
clean up all the plastic particles
clean up all the dust
Yay! Now we can go eat the -- B Q (read Bar - Bee- Queue) cooking in the backyard as a reward! YUM! Beef roast AND whole chicken.
